Laced Store Tees

Well as you may or may not know, Laced has finally opened up in the new spot on the ground level. After months of saying “not too long” to inquisitive customers we can finally say “Here it is! But it’s not quite done…”. Anyway regardless it’s awesome to finally be down in the public eye. To coincide with the new space we decided to update the store logo and drop some fresh new store tee designs. These four are the first guys, created by yours truly. My personal favourite has to be the Bones tee, although all of them are quite dear to me for obvious reasons.
Each tee is limited to just 20 units, and they can be snatched up either online or in-store.

Y.A.U.O.T – The Opening Hours

Pretty sure this is the first time I’ve made a “You Ain’t Up On This” post, but now seemed like a good time to start. The Opening Hours is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date with what’s going on with Australia’s creative minds. As they put it: “Our aim is to bring the latest in Australia’s exhibitions, vandalism, creative ism, events, accidents and exploits to help you get through the work day.“

Lister for Colab Eyewear

Back in September Taz gave you a preview of Colab Eyewear’s project with Brisbane’s own Anthony Lister. Now I can inform you that the sunnies created by the misfit-come-artist are available for purchase on Colab’s site. The three styles are fairly general looking except for the “mask” provided with the first 250 pairs of the “Vacation in the Sun” frames (pictured above). These are probably the most “Lister” of all the pieces and are sure to have people notice you at least.

-S,
House Industries

You may already know about this firm, if not chances are you’ve come across their work unwittingly at some point. House Industries have long been an organisation that consistently creates product; whether it be typography, apparel, sculpture or prints, that really appeal to me. Just stumbled across a little video that sums up what they do and thought it was pretty nifty.
